Cha Cha Chocolate is MOVING!!!
On the 28th of October 2017 I opened a “pop up shop” for 8 weeks, nearly three years later we are on the move. This year for everyone has been a roller coaster that’s for sure & has made me realize now is the perfect time for new beginnings. During the last few months especially in the middle of our craziest season ever, Easter was like nothing we have experienced before or will experience again. There was so much uncertainty owning a small business but the fear of my family getting sick keep me awake at night. I remember having multiple conversations with them about needing more space, for my customers & for us out the back.
In two weeks time we will be moving into the old Radio Rentals shop next to Bella Donna Hairdressers & 2 doors down from Proctors Jewellery. Our new location is 84 Bourbong Street & we are so excited. Our new space will allow you all to experience our shop at its best especially in our peak seasons without feeling like sardines in a can. I can assure you though it won’t lose its intimacy & old world feeling, it will be as you remember it to be in Targo Street just a little bigger.
My beautiful little shop has allowed me to follow my dreams for years & I will never take for granted just what that means to me. I can promise you my priority is to create a better shopping experience with better access for Wheelchairs & Families, more space for NEW products & displays & I don’t have have just 1 window display I now have 2 (no pressure Mel 😳). The biggest addition to our new shop is out the back, we have a few ideas up our sleeve with what we do with some of that space but that will all develop in the months to come.
I hope you all get excited to see our new signs go up and we reveal our first window display in the new shop. We will be closing Targo Street at 2pm on Thursday the 18th of June and plan to re open on Monday the 22nd if everything goes to plan.
Thank you for supporting my business, thank you for rallying around me at Easter when I needed you the most, thank you for the photos of your kids you send to me in front of my window displays, thank you for dancing along to my music when no one is watching, thank you for trusting me to spoil your family and friends with their deliveries & thank you for the chats, the tears, the laughs & the moments I will gather up before I head off on this new adventure, you are not just my customers you are my friends.
